Amanhã, dia 5 estará começando uma nova fase dentro dos quadrinhos da DC Comics, DC Future State dará um breve vislumbre no futuro do universo com novas equipes criativas, apresentando minisséries que vão durar dois meses.
O evento vai pular a cronológia atual da DC para mostrar um futuro distante com novos heróis assumindo o manto dos antigos heróis como Superman, Batman e Mulher-Maravilha.
Com isso, todas as publicações convencionáis serão imterrompidas para dar lugar ao Future State. No evento, terá títulos com até quatro edições, constuindo esse futuro, onde o Superman foi exilado da Terra e precisará enfrentar alienígenas, Bruce Wayne abdicou do manto do Batman, mas continua com o Detetive das Trevas.
A Liga da Justiça desse futuro terá como membros Jonathan Kent, filho de Kal-El assumindo o manto do pai, Tim Fox, filho de Lucius e irmão de Luke/Batwing vai assumir o papel de Homem Morcego e a brasileira Yara Flor estará no posto de Mulher-Maravilha. Além disso, vamos ter uma Aquawoman, além de Jess Chambers como o novo Flash (um personagem gênero-fluido). Por fim, Jo Mullein assume o papel do Lanterna Verde.
Assim com novos heróis teremos novos vilões. Yara Flor enfrentará criaturas e lendas do folclore brasileiro, o Batman de Tim Fox vai enfrentar uma nova organização criminosa chamada o Magistrado.
